Employ-ABLE Disability Career Fair
Employ-ABLE Disability Career Fair, sponsored by Baltimore County Commission On Disabilities and funded by Maryland Department Of Disabilities will be a part of the World of Possibilities Expo at the Maryland State Fairgrounds on Wednesday of the Expo, May 6, 2009! Don't forget to bring your resume to the event. Find companies who are hiring persons with disabilities as well as disability professionals (OTs, PTs, educators, etc.). employ-ABLE helps bring more employment opportunities to the disabilities community and our returning disabled veterans by linking employers with job seekers.
Emergency Preparedness - Vista Room
Baltimore County Emergency Management and Homeland Security, Baltimore City Mayor's Office of Emergency Management and the Maryland Department of Disabilities will host an "Emergency Preparedness" workshop in the Vista Room, on May 7th at 11:00am, 1:00pm and 3:00pm at the Expo.
Local Agencies and Support Groups
Agencies such as the Maryland Department of Disabilities, Maryland Assistive Technology Loan Program, Maryland Technology Assistance Program (MD TAP) and many many more will be on the show floor
