Representatives from Stuart’s Medical and Sales will be available for emergency repairs and wheelchair rentals

Please visit the Disabilities Champions Pavilion to connect with individuals who have gone above and beyond to help the disabilities community. Meet Monica Wiley, MISS MARYLAND USA SLICC (Success through Leadership, Character, Confidence) Ambassador 2023, Marcellus Crews, Candidate for Senate, Michael Scott-Candidate for Senate, Michelle Bishop-National Disability Rights Commission for Individuals With Disabilities, Chandra Smith 2023 Ms. Wheel Chair MD…now Ms. Wheelchair USA, Dominique Sessa 2024 Ms. Wheel Chair MD, Mayor of College Park-Fazlul Kabir, Tim Adams-Mayor of Bowie, Amber Woods-National Federation of the Blind and Members of the Commission for Individuals with Disabilities. We also want to welcome Disabilities Champions Taylor Ragano, Ms. Virginia America 2024 & Marcella Ragano, Ms. Senior Virginia USA 2024. Together, this mother-daughter duo advocates for the disability community through public speaking and sharing of their stories.

Personal Care Services Available During The Day
A&S Compassion Care will offer assistance and a helping hand at the Expo to individuals who need it.

Sign Language Interpreting Services Available
ASL TERPS will be on hand to assist deaf or hard of hearing individuals

Local Celebrities
Captain Dee-Fense, #1 Super Ravens Fan will stroll around the Expo and be on hand to take pictures with the attendees through out the event!

Canine Companions
Canine Companions, Washington Office will be doing service dog demos at their space at the end of the hall. Learn about service dogs and what they can do for you.

Health Screenings
We will offer Free Hearing & Vision Screening by the Lions District-22 Community Outreach Foundation. The Lions Community Outreach Foundation is a community-based effort to prevent vision and hearing loss. The Foundation provide free vision, glaucoma, and hearing screenings.

11:30a-12:30 DEMO: Canine Companions sample service dog training with 12 of their dogs outside
12:00Noon PRESENTATION: Maryland Technology Assistance Program (MDTAP). MDTAP provides both in-person and virtual opportunities to meet with our staff, discuss needs, review settings where the technology is needed and learn about low interest/extended term financial loans to live, work, and learn more independently.
12:00Noon DEMO: Freedom Through Therapy will be performing a puppet show with free give-aways at their table space
